This course will expand the average boat owner's knowledge of vessel maintenance.
It discusses the three aspects of Piloting: Navigational and Plotting skills; Seamanship skills, and the boat's capabilities and performance.
Course content: The Hull, General Maintenance, The Electrical System, Marine Engines, Gasoline Fuel System, Ignition, Lubrication, Engine Cooling, Outboards, Seasonal Maintenance, Safety Equipment, Trailers, Marine Toilets (Heads) and Stoves, Painting Tips, Galvanic Scale of Metals in Seawater, Zebra Mussels, Owner's Manual and Accident Report
